Alpine is announcing the appointment of Patrick Marinoff as Managing Director. Marinoff will have responsibility for leading Alpine’s next chapter of its rebirth.

A German native, Patrick Marinoff started his career at Daimler in marketing strategy. He was then appointed executive assistant to the CEO.

In 2006 he took a leadership role with the luxury brand Maybach as Global brand manager. In 2013 he was appointed Head of brand appearance for Mercedes-Benz with responsibility for the overall corporate architecture of Mercedes-Benz including dealer network, fairs, events.

Since 2014 he was Head of sales for AMG and member of the Executive Board of Mercedes-AMG GmbH.

I am very happy to welcome Patrick in the team, he will bring a wealth of experience in the management of iconic brands. His knowledge and passion for sportscars will be a great asset and driving force to grow and develop the Alpine brand and business, said François Renard, Executive Vice President Global Marketing at Groupe Renault.

Patrick Marinoff’s appointment is effective September 2.




Alpine was founded in 1955 by Jean Rédélé, a young man passionate about motorsports. The Alpine name became legendary when the Alpine A110 ‘Berlinette’ won the 1971 and 1973 Monte Carlo Rally. Today, Alpine is back with the new A110, a sports car faithful to Alpine’s timeless principles of compactness, lightness and agility, with one promise: driving pleasure.
